The Foundations in Auditory Verbal Therapy Training Program is a six-month program designed for speech and language pathologists who have very limited experience working with children with hearing loss.

The program will equip them with necessary theoretical knowledge and adequate competencies that will serve as foundation for a sound Auditory Verbal Therapy practice. Trainees who complete this program are eligible to earn CEUs from the AG Bell Academy of Listening and Spoken Language.

This is for speech and language pathologists who have completed the Foundations in Auditory Verbal Therapy Training Program and would like to pursue a Listening and Spoken Language Certification in Auditory Verbal Therapy. This consists of in-depth mentoring, session observations, and help in preparing application requirements for the AG Bell LSLS certification exam.

This service package is suitable for families living in the provinces. The therapist will travel to the family’s province and work with them in their home environment. The package consists of two one-hour face-to-face therapy sessions and one-hour consultation (total of 3 hours). Additional therapy sessions may be added upon request.
